Libraries & internet access

Libraries lend books free of charge to members, and offer free internet access.  They are also excellent sources of information on local and national amenities.  It is free to become a member.  To join, you will need to show your passport, and a utility bill or proof of work or accommodation. Most libraries have selections of books in languages other than English.  These selections are changed from time to time to ensure readers have a good variety of choice.  Polish books are available in most libraries. 



Libraries also have local and national newspapers, talking books, DVDs and CDs, story times for children, and other facilities such as photocopying, for a small charge.  All libraries have computers that you can use for free for writing letters, CVs, etc, and for free Internet access.
